ABOUT THE PLAY
Puritan butcher, Robert Goodman, has firm command of his righteous and God-fearing family. A mad wife, a violent brother, and a past of carnal temptations however, threaten the pillars of his kingdom.
ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT
Chelsea Woolley is completing her final year as a playwright at the National Theatre School of Canada. Having previously graduated from the University of Lethbridge, Chelsea is a writer, teacher, and performer. A selection of her work written at the National Theatre School includes: The Mountain, The Exhibition of Extraordinary Oddities and Living Freaks, Miss Peacock Plain and The Only Good Boy. Other works include: 1000 Names, Goose, and A Song for the Water Women. Chelsea has worked with theatre companies including: The Major Matt Mason Collective, Theatre BSMT, and TheatreXtra. She has been a recipient of several provincial and national playwriting awards for her plays: The Exhibition of Extraordinary Oddities, The Only Good Boy, Goose, and 1000 Names.
